We’ve worked hard to restore this historic warehouse and preserve the original character of the building rebrand as the Record Box paying homage to its historic roots. The building was built in 1902 as the Record Printing and Box Company printing cereal boxes during the cereal boom in Battle Creek. Over the years, the building was home to many other manufacturing businesses including saddlery and harnesses and the paper bailer. It sat empty for almost 20 years prior to its renovation by Restore (269), who brought new life to the building.
The venue Record Box Loft is located in the heart of downtown Battle Creek and spans along the riverfront. The venue offers 8,000 square feet of flexible space to meet your event’s needs. Record Box Loft oozes with historic character and industrial charm. It will woo you with its original hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, exposed wooden ceiling, timber beams and columns. Record Box Loft is the place for community, for people to come together to celebrate life’s record moments.
